Energy Sustainability

The Program

The program looks to both increase energy efficiency and switch to more sustainable sources of energy. In energy efficiency, the plan is to 1) fully take advantage of money available from the Xcel Energy rebate program, and 2) continue providing the popular energy consulting services. The energy consultants provide free building analysis of energy efficiency in terms of dollars spent per square foot.

In using sustainable sources of energy, the program looks to harness Boulder’s winds as one of the ways of lessening the dependence on greenhouse gas emitting fossil fuels.
