About Calonne

Back when Calonne was working towards his B.A. in biology from UC Riverside, it would be tough to imagine that he would one day be Boulder's City Attorney. To understand such a dramatic turn, Calonne explained, one would have to know his upbringing by his immigrant parents and the sense of duty they instilled in him. After short pleasant time working with his biology degree, Calonne decided to go to law school purely for the goal of public service. Leaving his enjoyable environmental monitoring work for law school was the best way to serve his country as he says "public lawyers are the finest service professionals in America".
