Boulder Tomorrow Names New Executive Director

May 17, 2007- Boulder, CO - Boulder Tomorrow, a non profit professional organization of business and community leaders whose goal is to champion strategic thinking and intelligent decision-making on issues important to the Boulder community, named its new Executive Director, Judy W. Bigger, who was selected following an extensive and thorough executive search process.

Judy W. Bigger will replace Earl McLaughlin, who will retire from the organization in May, after serving as its president since 1999. Bigger joins Boulder Tomorrow after 15-years in sales, marketing and nonprofit administration. Her diversified career includes work with companies and organizations including Flatirons Solutions Corporation, Cohn Marketing Group, The Boulder Chamber of Commerce and Promise Hotel Companies. "I was drawn to Boulder Tomorrow because of its commitment to the future of Boulder's business community and its dedication to strategic informed advocacy on local issues," said Bigger. "The mission, the philosophy and the values of the organization all add up to a group of professionals and community leaders who care deeply about Boulder's business community; who intelligently evaluate the issues, and offer creative solutions."

Most recently, Boulder Tomorrow led opposition to voter Initiative 2A, which would have required voter approval for many city annexations. The organization also has published positions on Boulder's retail strategy, greenhouse gas reduction plan, and budget challenges.
